7/20/1990 ~ 12/5/2020

Aric Dextyn Perkins, 30, of Kanosh, Utah passed away December 5, 2020 in Utah. He was born on July 20, 1990 in St. George to Aric Douglas and Jean Rachelle Hunt Perkins. Dextyn has two older sisters and two younger brothers and was raised in Kanosh. Dex was all boy and loved working with his dad and family on the farm and ranch. He loved hunting, fishing, and riding horses. He took piano lessons and was blessed to be the pianist in church callings and on his mission. He was an avid reader and always had books and music around him. Dextyn’s smile and bright blue eyes would light up any room he entered, he was loyal to a fault and was well liked by everyone who knew him. He earned his Eagle Scout and graduated from Millard High School in 2008. Dex served an honorable mission to the Argentina Cordoba Mission, he used his love of the Spanish language daily.
He married Danielle Dinino on September 29, 2012 in the Las Vegas LDS Temple. Two years later they were blessed with a son, Aiden Dean Perkins. Dextyn was amazing with children and they flocked to him wherever he was, he would soon have them laughing for all to hear. His greatest joy was being a father to Aiden.
Dex was ever the one to stand up for the under dog, and helped many in his life.
He will be greatly missed.
