Beverly Dyches Hansen, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, Aunt and friend passed away at the age of 85 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Chester Utah to Delon John and Ometta Dyches on January 19,1939. Beverly graduated from Moroni High school in 1956.
On December 27, 1956. She married Hal Walter Hansen in the Manti Temple. She was employed at Snow college cafeteria for years and had immense talent in the kitchen. Her prime rib and BBQ Turkey would bring a smile to anyone’s face.
She was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints where she served in many capacities. Her compassion and kindness radiated to all those she knew. She had the ability to captivate you with her quick wit and her humor. She was always sacrificing her time and energy for others. We are all better people for her being part of our lives. For many years she enjoyed being a part of a local bowling league, a ladies pinochle club, and all of the activities she enjoyed with the Search and Rescue. She formed many lifelong friendships by playing the games that she loved. Gardening, sharing time with family and friends and serving her father in heaven were her deepest passions. She was always providing service to others and had the ability to cut, style and perm hair. She did this for family friends and neighbors and was always trying to help the less fortunate. She was a genuine friend and loved by all who had the privilege to cross her path. Her tender sweet influence will live on inside of our hearts.
She is survived by her daughter GayDene Montoya (Frank), Brothers Sheran Dyches, Tom Dyches (Beatrice), Rick Dyches (Kathy) grandkids Heather Oreno, Jamison Reed Sanders (Jen), Karlee Coke (Dan), Brylen Montoya (Sara) 11 great grand kids with another one on the way, and 2 great great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her husband Hal Walter Hansen, daughter Tayna Hansen, her parents Delon and Ometta Dyches and her sister in law Mary Dyches
Special thanks to Dan and Karlee Coke and her intermountain hospice team Arla, Ruth, Grethen, Sheila and Lindsay for their compassionate service rendered during the last part of her life.
