Carole Virginia Kyser Olsen

Carole Virginia Kyser Olsen ; Born February 26, 1940 in Flomaton, Alabama to Herbert and Willene Kyser. She grew up in Alabama and was your traditional Southern Belle. While in Alabama she had three children with her first husband. She later remarried Gary K. Olsen in Manti, Utah in 1976. She loved cooking, genealogy, photography, painting, crocheting, and spending those moments with others. She cherished the moments of teaching her children and grand-children her world-famous chicken and dumplings, always crafting her doilies and talking about her ancestors. Carole was always open to traveling and exploring new places. In her adult life she treasured the opportunity to learn, read and grow. She was social in all situations, making friends wherever she went. The last five years of her life she suffered from Alzheimer’s. Over that time, she had moments of that loving and caring “Cricket” that everyone loved. She passed away peacefully in Roy, UT.

She is survived by her husband Gary K. Olsen of Sterling, UT. Her daughter Lorrie Vaughn (DeLane) of Willard, UT, and son Tim Rigby (Tami) of Bay Minette, AL. Her seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents (Herbert and Willene Kyser), two brothers (Hunter and Stanley) daughter Meloney Rigby and grandchild Jaime Russell.
