It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Monica Rowley, who peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on May 12, 2026, at the age of 59, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Cindy was born in Charleston, West Virginia, and spent many of her younger years in Alabama before moving to Fillmore, Utah as a teenager. She later built most of her adult life in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she raised her family and created a home filled with love, warmth, and unwavering support. In her final years, she returned to Utah, where she found peace surrounded by family and familiar roots.
Cindy built her life around faith, family, and service to others. She was a strong and dedicated wife, a loving mother, and a safe place for not only her own children, but for the many others who passed through her home over the years. Her door was always open, her table was always full, and her heart always had room for one more.
She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. Sunday dinners together were among her favorite traditions, bringing everyone close through laughter, stories, and love. She adored her grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them, especially the long pool days filled with sunshine, laughter, and memories they will carry forever.
Cindy had a deep love for the ocean and the peace of the beach, where she found beauty in sunsets, quiet reflection, and the simple joy of being near the water. She loved exploring the outdoors, planning meaningful events for those she loved, and collecting antiques that carried stories of their own.
A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cindy devoted many years of her life serving as a Young Women’s leader at both the ward and stake levels. She touched countless young lives through her guidance, faith, compassion, and unwavering example of Christlike love. Her service to others was never for recognition—it was simply who she was.
She is survived by her loving husband, Karey Rowley; her children, Amber Stevens Anderson, Slater Harris, and Casey Harris; her beloved grandchildren, Everett Anderson, Jordyn Anderson, Maximus Cowley, Lucas Anderson, and Zoey Delgado; and her siblings, Scott Roth and his wife Annette; her sisters, Tami Harman and her husband Kent, and Kristy Krause and her husband Kenneth. She shared a brief chapter of her life with her first husband, Sean Stevens, with whom she welcomed her first child, and spent many years building and raising her family alongside Kevin Harris, father of her three other children and an important part of their lives.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Samantha, and her parents, David Samuel Roth and Millie Fullmer Roth.
Funeral services honoring Cindy’s life and faith will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Stake Center located at 25 South 300 West Street, Fillmore, Utah 84631. A viewing will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m., with a luncheon to follow. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
Cindy’s strength, warmth, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing she is free from pain and joyfully reunited with loved ones who went before her.
Her legacy lives on in the family she built, the faith she lived, and the countless lives she touched through her love and service. She will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
