Darren Moss Jarman, 58, passed away at his home in Mt. Pleasant, UT surrounded by his family after a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. Darren was born July 11, 1965, in Salt Lake City, UT to David Sr. and Linda Jarman.
For the last 20 years, he worked in Idaho for Modern Machinery as a heavy equipment mechanic. He loved the work he did and made lasting friendships with his co-workers.
In 2016, he was reacquainted with an old friend, Debbie, who he married later that year on July 16th. Together they have 4 children, 11 grandchildren (with one on the way, Jaslynn), and one great-grandchild. Darren loved spending time with his family. He always looked forward to their visits and hunting trips.
Darren loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. His favorite place to be was in front of a campfire surrounded by his family and friends.
Darren had a huge heart and loved helping others. He also had a love for animals. He had several pets through the years. His favorites were dogs named Shiloh and Deuce. He left behind his two bunnies, Molly and Thumper, whom he loved dearly.
Darren was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; mother, Linda Jarman; daughter, Corrina Jarman; son, Brad (Kortnie) Jarman; bonus daughters, Felicia (Ricky) Gahley and Melissa (Troy) Reese; grandchildren Elijah, Eleyna, Jaslynn (on the way), Titan, haven, Jaydan, Savannah, Kezley, MaKynlee, Javon, Keiston, and Paxton; great-grandchild Wilder Gahley; nephew Skylar Jarman; brothers Joe (Sandy) Jarman and James Jarman.
Preceded in death by father, David Jarman Sr.; step-father Richard Jarman; brothers Dave Jarman and John Jarman; granddaughter, Ellie Jarman; and nephew, Jace Jarman.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant North Stake Center (461 North 300 West) Viewings will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services, both at the church.
