David Tiriaq Taylor

May 22, 1969 — October 16, 2023

David Tiriaq Taylor departed this earth on October 16, 2023, to meet his loved ones and our protector and keeper Jesus Christ, waiting for him in the Heavens. He was born on May 22, 1969, in Provo, Utah, attended Sanpete High School, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Tiriaq has always loved the beauty of this earth and all of God's creations. One of his favorite childhood stories is his beloved duck who followed him like a baby chick. He was a great source of comfort to all, even those not easily noticed. He also had a great interest in the stars, literature, science, and all things that develop the mind and build the spirit.

He considered himself a warrior, a guardian for good. He earned his 7th-degree black belt in Kajukenbo, a Hawaiian martial art consisting of a collective expertise of different styles.

The Kajukenbo Prayer describes his life.

"Almighty and eternal god, protector of all who put their trust in thee, accept the humble homage of our faith and love in thee, the one true God. Bless our efforts to preserve the integrity of the United States of America, a nation founded on Christian principles, enlighten our roles, guide our law makers and protect the sanctity of our homes, and bless our efforts in these exercises, whose sole purpose is developing our body to keep others mindful of thy commandments. Give us perseverance in our actions, so we may use this as a means to keep closer to you the one true God. In the name of thy beloved son, Jesus Christ, our lord. Amen." - Credited Frank Ordonez

We love you, Tiriaq. God bless.
