Debbie Marie Christensen, 64 of Ephraim, Utah, left us far too soon on May 19, 2025. Born December 8, 1960 in Salt Lake City, UT to Robert Eugene & Anna Louise Stewart Maupin. Debbie was raised in Sandy, UT and graduated from Bingham High School in 1978.
Debbie married Tom Christensen in February 1986, they later divorced. In 1987 they moved to Fairview where they had the joy of raising four rambunctious boys. Her boys are the light of her eyes! You will not find a more loving, supportive mom, grandma, or as many referred to her as "Momma Deb". Her greatest memories were made while spending time up the mountain camping, boating at Lake Powell, fishing, and most of all spending time with her family and ten grandkids, whom meant the world to her.
While raising a family Debbie also owned/operated a successful nursery in Sanpete County known as Birch Creek Gardens. She had the opportunity of meeting and becoming friends with many in the community through her 20 plus years at the nursery. While running the nursery she was known for volunteering Tom to assist the seniors in getting their flowers planted. She took pride in her nursery and genuinely cherished her time and the friendships she acquired there. You won't find a more knowledgeable green thumb around!
"LOVE YOU MOSTESS"
Debbie is survived by her four sons, Tyler (Megan) Christensen; Zane Christensen; Kelton (Kenzie) Christensen; Conner (Keisha) Christensen; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Doug (Carrie) Maupin; Bobbie McCord; Kathi (David) Clement; Lynn (Denny) Sharp, Mike Maupin. Preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Jim McCord.
A celebration of her life for family and close friends will be held at 4 p.m. on May 31, 2025 at the Christensen family farm.
