Edmund Clair "Cass" Edmunds, 72, passed away June 29, 2025 of natural causes in Littlefield, AZ. Born October 22, 1952 to Fred James Edmunds and Edna Madsen of Fountain Green, UT; the middle son of eight children.

Growing up, Cass loved to help out on the family farm, working alongside his brothers caring for animals or hauling hay–never one to avoid hard work, even at a young age. He had many friends in Fountain Green and even formed a rock band with a few where he used his natural music talent as the drummer. The band even appeared on the Jerry Lewis Telethon!

Cass attended and graduated from North Sanpete High with the class of 1970.

He was naturally blessed with artistic abilities, was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking, and “tinkering”. He had a good dog by his side throughout every stage of life serving as a trusty companion.

Cass worked various jobs over the years as a skilled heavy equipment operator. He was a volunteer Search & Rescue member and served with the Mt. Pleasant Fire Dept. He worked many years for the Public Works department with the city where he was recognized and appreciated for his hard work and dedication.

He met and married Connie Wilcox in 1975 and they were married 19 years and share four children. They later divorced. He then married Kathaleen Bills and they formed a family together. They also later divorced.

Later in life, Cass worked with his brother Jeff on his property in Spring City, which he truly enjoyed. Farming, and fixing anything that needed repair.

Cass is survived by his brothers: Phil, Jeffery (Carol Freasier); his one and only sister: Eva (Ken) Olsen; his children: Amy Dawn (Chet) Earl, Cami (Nashton) Forsyth, Joey, Dustin (Lacey), and Koral; stepdaughters: Krista and Kami Olson; five precious grandchildren, and many dear nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Jon, Kevin, Brent, and Tony; sister in-law Pauline; and his beloved daughter, Caitlin.

Cass was gracious and generous to everyone he encountered throughout his life. He formed many bonds and countless friendships. His quiet and calm demeanor will be missed, forever a young spirit.

Funeral services will be held at a later date for family and close friends.
