Our dearly beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Ferris Rae Bennett, passed away July 21, 2018 in Pleasant Grove, Utah at the Alpine Valley Care Center.

She was born October 8, 1934 in Meadow, Utah to Ivan Osborne and Roma Gull Bennett. She graduated from Millard High School in Fillmore. She attended a semester at Brigham Young University and then transferred to LDS Business College in Salt Lake City.

She served in the North British Mission from 1961-62. She was employed for many years by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Temple Square in Salt Lake City. She grew close to many of her co-workers and cared about them as her second family. She served as organist in her ward in Salt Lake City and again in her ward when she moved to Meadow, Utah. She also served as Relief Society pianist and historian in her ward in Meadow.

Survivors include a brother, Veldon J. Bennett, Jacksonville, AL; sisters, Marilyn Andengaard, Orem, Utah and Norma Brunson, Fillmore, Utah. She also has many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Margaret S. Bennett, and a brother-in-law, Dennis S. Brunson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 27th at 11:00 am in the Meadow LDS Chapel where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to the services. Interment, Meadow Cemetery under the direction of Ramussen Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant. Share condolences at www.rasmussenmortuary.com.
