Garth Hasler Anderson

October 26, 1952 — June 19, 2025

Our loving, funny, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Garth Hasler Anderson, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 19, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer and complications from Myasthenia Gravis.

Garth was born on October 26, 1952, to Lee and Loraine Anderson. He married his sweetheart, Susan Bench, on June 2, 1973, in the Manti Utah Temple. Garth grew up in Fairview, Utah, and later raised his family in Magna, Utah.

He was employed at Wheeler Machinery, where he worked and retired after 47 years. Garth was known for his strong work ethic, friendly nature, and his ability to bring humor and warmth to every interaction. He lived a life of faithful service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and The Boy Scouts of America.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister, Arlis Cox, and his grandson, Wyatt Anderson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; his children: Cory (Robyn) Anderson, Katie (Rick) Stout, Carol (Tim) Rednour, Kyle Anderson, and Kevin (Tamera) Anderson; his beloved grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and his siblings: Don Lee Anderson, Selena (Harvey) Walker, and Arlan (Kitsy) Anderson.

Garth loved to travel and spend time with his family, but his greatest joy in life was being a grandpa. He absolutely adored his grandchildren: Dominic (Misty), Audrey, Mason, Madi, Dylan (Caroline), Lexi (Alejandro), Hannah, Connor (AmBrianna), Ethan, EmiLee, Luke, Easton, Summer, Wyatt, Evan, Preston, Ella and His great grandson Dean. He cherished every moment with them.

All services will be held at the meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 131 E 100 N (Fairview 3rd Ward) in Fairview, Utah.
