George Ernest Pattee

George Ernest Pattee, 87 of Wales, Utah, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2024, at his home in Wales, UT. He was born on July 24, 1936, in Fraser, CO, to Richard Maurice & Florence Eline Bergquist Pattee.

George held a deep passion for his craft as a carpenter in the construction industry, where he put his skills to use throughout his professional life. Although he did not complete a formal degree, George had a thirst for knowledge and was always eager to learn and grow.

In addition to his career, George had a wonderful array of hobbies and interests that brought him great joy. He was an avid bowler and loved playing horseshoes. George also possessed a talent for woodwork and enjoyed spending hours crafting beautiful pieces. He had a keen interest in motorcycles and old cars, cherishing every moment he spent exploring these passions.

George will be remembered by his loving wife, Sherry Pattee, his daughter, Jeanie Rush. He was a dedicated family man, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of wisdom to those he cared about most.

To celebrate George’s life, a public viewing will be held on February 7, 2024, at the Sanpitch Ward Church (92 S 200 W, Wales, UT) from 2:00 - 3:30 pm. Following the viewing, a celebration will take place at the church at 4:00 pm, where friends and loved ones will gather to share memories, stories, and pay their final respects. Following George's wishes he will then be cremated.
