James “Jim” Wentworth Hatfield

June 16, 1943 — April 20, 2022

6/16/1943 ~ 4/20/2022

Born June 16, 1943 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada to Lavina and Elmo Hatfield. Passed away April 20, 2022 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah.
Best friend and partner to Penny. Biggest fan and supporter of Douglas Hatfield, Gregory (Lori) Hatfield, Kelly Allred, Donna (Dale) Phillips Christine Ganieany, Kevin Guzic, Angela (Chance) Hatfield, Helen (Matt) Zobell. Doting grandfather to 10 most precious grands. Perfect big brother to Randy (Leslie) Hatfield, Sharon (David) Nicholson, Susan Kinney, Phillip (Sharon) Hatfield, Jessie Witbeck, Michael Hatfield, Dawn (Richard) Teerlink. Favorite uncle to many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brother Bruce Hatfield and son Keith Guzic.
Jim grew up in a small town in Alberta, Canada and lived his life with small town values. He loves his family, his job, his friends and his life. He appreciated that he had the ability to work hard and make a good life for his family. He believed in sharing his good fortune and didn’t judge whether one was deserving or not. He also shared himself – he was the “go to guy” if you needed anything – and never expected anything in return.
Funeral services will be held Monday April 25, 2022 in the Fairview 3rd Ward Chapel (131 E 100 N) with a viewing from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services under the care of Rasmussen Mortuary.
Thank you Jim – You have left big boots to fill! We love you.
