Jax was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, partner, and friend. He had an intelligent, curious mind and loved spending time outdoors exploring nature . His fun sense of humor, love of reptiles, and big heart will be terribly missed by his friends and family. Jax recently began his career as an electrician, helping to build homes throughout the Phoenix metro area.

When not working, Jax spent many of his weekends volunteering as a mentor. He is survived by his parents, Holly Rowley Peterson and Max Melwing. Stepparents, grandparents, 3 siblings, 3 nieces, and a nephew.

He also leaves behind his partner, Lilli.
