Jay Bill Lamb

Jay Bill Lamb passed away peacefully September 3, 2023 at his home in Wales Utah. He was born on November 14, 1953 to Bill and Patsy Lamb in Mt. Pleasant. He is the first of three sons. (Little Brothers Tom and Art) He grew up in Kearns Utah, where he graduated and met Connie Aldridge. They were married on June 9, 1973. They just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this summer. When first married honeymooned on the Wales Mountain. When they started their family they returned to Wales to have and raise their four daughters. Theresa (Ben Eicher of West Valley, UT) Daisy (Sean Herbert of Fort Thomas, AZ) Holly (Russell Hobbs of West Valley, UT ) Joleen (Fuzzy Perry of Moroni, UT).
Jay worked hard to provide for his wife and daughters at the Moroni Feed Company, retiring after 37 years.
He spent his time with family and friends enjoying the mountains hunting, fishing and riding horses. Jay tried his hand at raising turkeys, sheep, pigs, cows and any other animal that crossed his path. He was blessed to have twelve grandchildren. Grandpa Jay loved to share the great outdoors with them. Later as they grew he shared things he had learned while always watching a good western. He loved to hear about what they were doing. In summary Jay loved God, his family, friends, nature, and a good drink. He lived his life enjoying these things.

September 8, 2023 there will be a viewing for Jay Lamb at 10:00am to 10:45am with a Family Prayer, followed by a Life Celebration at 11:00 to 12:00, with music and thoughts from family and friends with an opportunity to share your own. Finishing with walking to Wales Cemetery for graveside service. (Walking behind horse coach, or driving up) The graveside prayer will be given with a luncheon at the Wales Community Center after.
