Joy Vaughn Adamson Haslam

Our sweet mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loving sister, Joy Haslam peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday morning, January 14, 2021. Joy was born on September 16, 1932 to Delbert and Laura Adamson. She married Grant Scott Haslam in the Salt Lake City Temple on June 15, 1951. Together they raised 5 children in Granger and Bluffdale, Utah. After Scott retired, they moved to Mt Pleasant, and made many friends there.
Joy loved her children and was always there to support them in all their activities. She loved playing the piano, decorating for Christmas and working in her flower gardens. Her yard was always beautiful. She won awards for her gardening and decorating skills. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by three children, Michael, Cory, and Karen Rawlings, 8 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Vicki Haslam and Connie Larsen, her parents, sister, Sandy Jones, and granddaughter Alex Rawlings.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 12:00pm at the LDS church located at 14242 S. Loumis Parkway, Bluffdale, Utah. Viewing will be held prior to the service from11:00am to 11:45am. Interment at Bluffdale City Cemetery.
