Karen L. Kelly, 64 of San Antonio, TX, passed away January 12, 2023, unexpectedly at home surrounded by family. Born October 7, 1958, to Ann & Dwain Christensen in Sonora, CA.

Karen loved animals, helping people in need, and most of all her family. Karen did foster care for over 8 years helping problem teen girls. She ran an Auto Body shop out of her garage and showed all us girls how to work on cars. She was also a CNA for many years working in Nursing Homes. She later got her Medial Assistant/Phlebotomy license. She also practiced Reiki.

Karen studied Wicca and got her 3rd degree Priestess and was a Temple Head at Sacred Moon Garden Temple. She invited people of all faiths to gather at her Peace Tree for prayers and meditation. She was a mentor teacher at Correllian Nativist Tradition.

Karen met the love of her life Ron Sorensen in 2004 and moved to San Antonio, TX.

Survived by her husband Ron Sorensen; children, Laurie (Stephen) Moser, Jamie Bruno, Marie (Kevin) Rasband; step-children; Kari, Scott, Brian, Dawn Sorensen; grandkids, Seth, Zack, & Jace Moser, Braxton Bruno, Zylyn, & Phoenix Sorensen; Kaden (Mirisa) Rasband ; foster girls Brandie Marie and many others. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Paul Davey, grandkids Shallisse Miller, Michael Rasband. A Memorial Candle Light Vigil was held February 12, 2023. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com
