Katherine Jean Peterson

Katherine Jean Peterson, 73 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away November 4, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born March 6, 1953 to Carl LeRoy & Mary Alice Wardle Stanley in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Andrew William Peterson September 28, 1973 in the Manti Temple. Katherine is survived by her loving husband, Andrew; father, Carl L Stanley; siblings, Steven (Shelley) Stanley; Sandy (Tom) Bean; Wendy (Charles) Smith; brother-in-law Dale Christensen. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary A Stanley; Sister Mary Vee Christensen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rasmussen Mortuary, Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing and shared memories. Interment in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
