Kenneth Larkin Hamilton passed away on November 29, 2023 at the age of 64. Ken was born June 4, 1959 to Lawrence Larkin Hamilton and Barbara June Madsen in Mount Pleasant, Utah. He was the third of nine children. He loved his brothers and sisters and valued their relationships. After graduating high school, Ken served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in British Columbia, Canada. After returning home, he attended Snow College where he met his sweetheart Tracy Dawn Newell. They were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the
Salt Lake City Temple on May 14, 1981.
After their wedding, he continued his education where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic, D.C. and also earned various other associate degrees and certificates. Along with working as a chiropractor, he worked in construction and started North Bend Enterprises. He was dedicated to working hard and providing for his family. He was a successful General Contractor and business owner throughout his life.
Ken and Tracy were blessed with eight beautiful children and were committed to loving, teaching, and creating a wonderful life together. They lived in California, Virginia, and Utah where they made lasting memories; camping, riding horses, hunting, enjoying family movie nights, farming, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and disciple of Christ. He was constantly striving to study, learn, and
grow in the gospel and encouraged his children to do the same. He prioritized his relationships with his wife, children, and grandchildren by spending quality time with them and making each of them feel important and loved.
Kenneth was diagnosed with cancer and passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children. He returned to his heavenly home where he was reunited with his parents and his sons, Jared and Matthew.
He is survived by his wife Tracy and their six children: Brittanie Sargent (Branden), Alison Mantell (Chris), Chelsy Hales (Tom), Katelyn Krammer (Casey), Jordan Hamilton and Terissa Hamilton, 14 grandchildren: Kason, Tatum, Braxton, Hudson, Harper, Griffey, Hadlee, Camdyn, Graham, Berkley, Marlee, Hayden, Charlee and Haven, eight siblings: Merdene Lowe (Tom), Kathy Castello, Becky Skinner (Pete), Ben Hamilton (Jill), Chad Hamilton, Janice Haas (Ron), Perry Hamilton and Melanie Scott (Eric) and their families.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 6th at 11:00 a.m. at the Moroni Stake Center located at 82 North Center Street Moroni, Utah with a visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment in the Fairview City Cemetery.
