Listen to Obituary

Alice Louise Bond Warner passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in the Millard County Care and Rehab Center in Delta, UT. Finally free of the arthritis pain that has been constant companion for over 50 years.

Born March 9, 1935, in Meadow, UT to Clinton J and Medra L Bond, the youngest of 3 children. She grew up herding cows, polishing eggs to be sold and living the best life a farmer’s daughter could live.

Mom graduated from Meadow Elementary School and Millard High School where she was the Student Body Secretary her senior year. After high school, she worked at the PMA Office in Fillmore and later at the Ben Franklin/DCR Department store.

She met her husband Jerry Warner on a blind date to Jerry’s mission farewell party. They started dating when Jerry returned from his mission in 1954. She and dad were married on December 23, 1954 in the Manti Temple. The temple was open that day for a special session in honor of Joseph Smith’s birthday. They just celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary this past December.

They lived in Salt Lake City while dad finished pharmacy school, then moved to Fillmore where dad worked at Baker Drug and they raised their family. She held numerous church callings, Stake Primary Presidency, Stake and Ward meeting House Librarian, and Ward Relief Society President.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Warner, sons and daughters, Weston (Vikki) Warner, John (Jamie) Warner, Suzan (Gary) Larson, and Leslie (Jim) White. 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and two sisters-in-law, Carole Warner and Donna Edwards. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Terrill J his wife Iris Bond, her brother Junior L Bond, brother-in-law, Jim Warner and brother and sister-in-law Dave and Jolene Warner.
