Margaret Elizabeth “Beth” Robison Cahoon, 88, of Fillmore, Utah, peacefully transitioned into the next chapter of her life on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Delta, Utah.
Beth was born on November 11, 1937, in Fillmore, Utah, to Ancil P. Robison and Sarah Eva Stott Robison. She was the fourth of eight children.
Beth married Fred C. Cahoon on August 27, 1957. They were later sealed together in the Manti, Utah Temple in 1997. Beth had a strong testimony of her Savior and was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Beth and Fred were blessed with three children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Their children are Beth Ann (Mark) Jackman of Ivins, Utah; Richard (Alicia) Cahoon of Fillmore, Utah; and Brenda (Bill) Brown of South Jordan, Utah.
Her grandchildren include Felicity Cahoon of Cedar City, Utah; Amy Brown; Matthew (Kenzie) Brown of South Jordan, Utah; and Samantha (Jake) Parker. Her great-grandchildren are Harlee Clayton and Caiden Parker of St. George, Utah.
Beth was active in her community throughout her life. In addition to running her own beauty shop, she volunteered with many organizations, including the Senior Citizens, Fireman’s Auxiliary, Jeep Posse, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and her church. She faithfully served in many positions, including librarian, Primary president, teacher, cannery worker, and ordinance worker in the temple.
Beth was affectionately known at church as the “Jelly Bean Lady” because she loved handing out jelly beans to the children. She had a special love for little children and enjoyed making them smile.
Beth also loved the outdoors. When the weather warmed up, she enjoyed sitting outside under the carport in her yellow chairs, watching people travel up and down the street. She would wave to everyone who passed by. Her warm smile, kind heart, and friendly nature touched the lives of many.
Beth was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Beth is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Cahoon; her siblings Alison Robison, Thorpe Robison, and Launa Cluff; and her parents, Ancil P. Robison and Sarah Eva Robison.
