Marvin Dale Neves

January 10, 1948 — November 6, 2022

1/10/1948 ~ 11/6/2022

Marvin Dale Neves passed away at home 06 November 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born 10 January 1948 in Lovell Wyoming to Elden Johnson Neves and Vida Allphin Neves. In his formative years, Dale moved with his parents and eight siblings to Spanish Fork, Utah.
Dale served an honorable mission to the Greater Canadian Mission where he met the love of his life, Sheryl Susanne Black. Upon the completion of his mission, Dale returned to Canada to ask for Sheryl’s hand in marriage. Dale and Sheryl were sealed in the Logan Utah Temple for time and all eternity. They settled in Logan where they started their family. They later relocated to Pleasant Grove, Utah where they welcomed the remainder of their nine children, prior to moving to their forever home in Mount Pleasant, Utah where they continued their life of devotion and service to their children, community, and The Church of Jesus Christ. He also fulfilled his life-long dream of developing an equine program, passing on his love of horses as well as gardening to his children and grandchildren.
His greatest legacy is his faith, family, and service, and will continue on in the lives of his children; Robyn, Jonathan (Kaye), Jennifer (Tyler Falkner), Andrea (James Cole), Amy (Jeremy Nix), Suzanne, Melissa (Doug Russell), Alyson (Kyle Micheli), and David (Nicole), twenty-eight grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, along with many others whom Dale lovingly guided through life.
Dale faithfully served many church callings for The Church of Jesus Christ, including thirty years in scouting, and 8 years as a Manti Temple worker with his cherished wife.
Dale was a gentle giant whose physical strength was only trumped by his spiritual fortitude. Dale was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend. To know him is to love him. He will be deeply missed by all.
Funeral services will be held 14 November 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Stake Center at 295 South State Street, Mt. Pleasant, UT. A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30 prior to the service. Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
