Melissa Rebecca Suess (Allred), a vibrant pillar of light in the lives of all who knew her, passed away tragically on September 8, 2026, at Utah Valley Hospital following a car accident in Birdseye, Utah. Born on June 20, 2005, at Pioneer Valley Hospital in West Valley City, Melissa packed a lifetime of love, laughter, and fierce individuality into her twenty-one years.

She was delightfully flamboyant, beautifully quirky, and lived her life with a bigger-than-life energy that effortlessly drew people in. Melissa never met a stranger; she befriended everyone she crossed paths with and possessed the rare, beautiful gift of loving people exactly as they were, entirely free of judgment. Whether she was shining in a crowded room or spending quiet, phenomenal days hunting alongside her dad, Brandon Alley, she brought her whole, authentic self to every single moment.

At just fifteen years old, Melissa found the love of her life in Jake Allred. They were instantly inseparable, building a deeply bonded life together that culminated in their joyful marriage on July 30, 2024. Their devotion to one another was a cornerstone of her happiness.

Melissa left a distinct, deeply personal mark on every member of her family, reflected in the cherished names they called her. To Jake, she was his beloved Babe; to her mother, Kynosha, her sweet Missa; and to her father, Kevin, his Peek-a-dee. Her sister Savannah will forever hold her close as Baby Sissy, Arianna as Baby Sister.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jacob Allred; her mother, Kynosha Alley, and dad, Brandon Alley; her father, Kevin Suess; her sisters, Arianna Suess Begay (Isiah) and Savannah Suess (Luke Leavitt); and her brother, Kevin Jr. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Heide and Bernd Seuss, and Ilene Zamora, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and the beloved Allred family.

In this time of unimaginable heartbreak, her family and the Allred family are united in their shared grief, sending their boundless love to wherever her beautiful spirit has journeyed. Memorial service details will be shared at a later date, as the families lovingly await Jacob’s recovery and release from the hospital.
