Merril “Fae” Snyder

Merrel Fae Swallow Snyder, 94, Fillmore, Utah, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 8, 2023 at her home. She was born June 25, 1928 in Fillmore Utah to Alfred Beeston Swallow and Josephine Owens Swallow. She graduated from Millard High School in 1946. Married Darrell Snyder on August 10, 1946 in Fillmore. She worked in the cafes in Fillmore and Kanosh until moving to California in 1951. They lived there 10 years then moved back to Fillmore. Darrell died in April of 1971. She continued working until retiring at the age of 69. She had worked a total of 57 years as a Waitress. She was a hard worker and enjoyed visiting with the patrons.

She is survived by several Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Leah Jackson, Thora McKee, Geneva Fitzgerald and a brother Eugene Swallow. And a friend Elbert Woodbury (Tuck).
