Richard Wallace Carlyle

Richard W. Carlyle, 80, passed away peacefully on November 22nd, 2025, at his home in Indianola, Utah. Born July 26th, 1945, in Riverside, CA, Richard spent his life working hard, caring deeply for those close to him, and enjoying the simple things in life. Richard loved all things outdoors. Riding snow machines, piloting his own airplanes, water and snow skiing, and exploring the Utah mountain roads in his pickup trucks to name a few. Richard also loved good food, to include steaks and his specialty cheesecake he loved making for friends and family. Richard will be missed dearly by those who knew him.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Rebecca (Nathan), and Christy (Adam), and his son Andrew (Shala); 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 on the way. He is proceeded in death by his parents James and Vivian, and his grandson Gabriel.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
