Rich Hatton passed away in his home in Hillsboro, Oregon on November 17, 2020. Born Richard Lamar Hatton, on December 27th, 1970 in Cedar City, Utah. Rich was beloved by all who knew him.
Rich spent his early childhood in Alamo, Nevada. The family moved to Utah when Rich was five,
and later to Kanosh when he was eight.
Rich Graduated from Millard High School in 1989. He started working as an apprentice electrician and later earned his Journeymans Electricians license in 1998. He worked as an Electrician in Utah, Oregon and Hawaii. He was a son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He was an athlete, a fisherman and comedian.
Rich was a friend to everyone and he was everyone’s best friend when they needed one… Rich loved to fish, hunt, play cards with his family, hangout with friends, but Rich’s true love was people. Rich loved serving and helping people! Rich loved to tell a good story because he found humor in life, his hugs were warm and Rich’s laughter was contagious. Rich is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Rich was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Rose Hatton and his brother William Charles Hatton. He is survived by his brother, Gary (Merrily) Hatton, and his sisters, Shelly (Lee) Price, Brenda (Scott) Davis, Carol (Ian) Graham, Amy Hatton and our family pets. Twenty three Niece’s and Nephews.
Rich will be greatly missed and will always be Loved. Until we meet again.
Graveside services will be held in the Kanosh, Utah Cemetery on December 12, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Masks are required. Masks Required.
