Rochelle R Cropper Watts, 86 years young, of Delta, Utah, passed away on March 21,2026 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born on October 16, 1939, in Deseret, Utah, she was the beloved oldest daughter of Evelyn Law and Lester Cropper.

Rochelle lived a life marked by hard work, laughter, service, and creativity. She went to beauty school when she was 18 and worked as a professional beautician for 25 years. She also worked as an executive assistant for a large real estate developer. She accomplished this while raising two boys and two stepchildren. She was an accomplished artist and was always found looking for a person in need that she could help. If she saw something she wanted to do, nothing stopped her and she would always find a way to do it. She dedicated herself to painting, gardening, quilting, sewing, reupholstering, poetry and so much more. She was a huge jokester - she never let somebody get the best of her by using her quick wit and creativity.

She was known for always providing a great meal—such as chicken n dumplings—ronnies, sex in the pan, Sourdough Pancakes, granola, and cinnamon rolls. She rarely missed sports and other events that her grandchildren participated in.

As a youth her parents would take her on many weekend trips to the west hills where they panned for gold and stared at the stars. This is why she loved family reunions and yearly Christmas parties and gatherings.

She married Arland T Watts on October 26,1961. As a mother, she was loving and a fierce protector of her children. She taught her children and grandchildren the importance of caring for others, especially the elderly and those that were down on their luck.

She is survived by her two sons Kirk (Shauna)Watts and Kevin (Amy)Watts. She has 12 grandkids, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, along with six siblings: Brent (Loretta) Cropper, Janice (Nate) Rhodes, Butch (Sharon) Cropper, Francine Gordon, Rhonda (Dennis) Church and Roxanne (Phil) Robison, who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents Evelyn and Lester Cropper.

Her legacy lives in the traditions she has created. She has taught us to always serve, remember to laugh, and always look for opportunities to participate in constant selfless acts of charity.

A funeral will be held on March 28, 2026, Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ red brick building, 122 S State St, Fairview, Utah at 10 a.m. Friends and family are invited to attend.
