Growing up in American Fork down by the boat harbor in American Fork on 10 Acres raising animals there was always something for any of us to do from gardening and taking care of animals to playing and running to what Ronnie found a passion for Mechanics. When Ronnie figured out how to use tools nothing was safe. Ronnie would take apart many of the vehicles that were on the property. Later in life, Ronnie figured out how to put things back together rather than just take them apart. If you couldn’t find Ronnie close by you always knew he was down at the animals taking a vehicle apart. He would always be right by Dad or Daniel while they would be doing any Mechanical work. Ronnie was always really good at getting any bolts or nuts that were stuck. Ronnie also had the nickname of Runt-O-Ron. Everyone that knew his nickname would always ask why Runt-O-Ron he is not small at all but it was just because it was a name our father gave him and it stuck. While going to school if Ronnie was asked to read books he would always ask if he could read the car and truck books on how to take them apart and put them back together. We had many of those books around and he could read them. When anything needed to be fixed around the house Ronnie would be one of the first people there with tools to help.
As Ronnie grew up not only did he love fixing things but he also loved his Family very much he would always help when asked to and as he got Nieces and Nephews he loved to tease and play with them. Ronnie will be remembered for his service to others and his generous heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and offer guidance on mechanical issues. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
