Heaven gained another angel. Rosa Lee Robins, age 79 of Scipio, Utah passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on the morning of June 14, 2021, at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. Rosa Lee was born in Fillmore, Utah, on May 18, 1942, to Everett Moyle Ashman and Florence Louise Rackman Ashman also of Fillmore. Rosa Lee was a proud graduate of Millard High School in 1960. Rosa Lee and Gary Mont Robins were married on September 2, 1960, and sealed in the Salt Lake City, Utah temple. Rosa Lee was a valiant servant of the Lord to the end as she faithfully fulfilled many callings in her church. She found great peace in offering her love, home, and service unconditionally to any and all that may have been in need. “Grandma Rosie” loved to cook, sew, and sing. Her dinner rolls and tapioca pudding are legendary. She was always at her happiest moments when her family would gather for holidays or family events. Rosa Lee had a contagious love of music. She loved to share her talents any time she had the opportunity. Rosa Lee was an avid fan of her beloved Millard Eagles. She followed and enjoyed her husband’s coaching career and her children and grandchildren’s activities religiously. Rosa Lee was preceded in death by her twin sister Lea Rose (Fillmore, UT) Rosa Lee is survived by her children Scott and Diane Robins (Aurora, UT) Stephanie and Troy Pate (Cummings, GA) Kurtis and Melissa Robins (Teasdale, UT) Thayne and Michelle Robins (Houston, TX) Dr. Rick and Heidi Robins (Nephi, UT) Angela Robins (Scipio, UT). Siblings; Dorothy Fordham (Bountiful, UT) Dr. James Ashman (Mapleton, UT) Virginia Llewellyn (Arlington, TX) Brenda Lucille Johnson (Holden, UT). Gary and Rosa Lee are also the proud grandparents of 32 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 11:00 am in the Scipio Ward Chapel. Viewings will be held Friday June 18, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 am prior to services, both at the church. Interment in the Scipio Town Cemetery.
