Ryker Hewitt, age 40, passed away on September 29, 2026, at Saint Mark's Hospital ICU. He died unexpectedly after a long battle with acute respiratory failure.

Ryker was born in Provo, Utah, on September 8, 1986. Throughout his life, he was known for his generous, helpful, and deeply forgiving nature. Ryker is survived by his wife, Alicia; his five sons: Dameion, Luceion, Caleb, Julius, and Jason; his mother, Julie; his step-father, Terje; his mother-in-law, Dianna; his siblings, Rachele, Amy, Wesley, and Alec; and his self-adopted brother, Jeremy. He also leaves behind his grandmothers, De and Martha, along with many self-adopted brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers he gathered throughout his life. He was loved by many.
