“Sandy” Sandra Ann Tucciarone Arzich
Sandy Arzich passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on August 4, 2026, at the age of 82.
Sandy was born on June 17, 1944. She was raised by her mother, Genevieve Tucciarone, alongside her brother, John, and her sister, Joanne. She later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she graduated from Rancho High School in 1962.
On March 30, 1974, Sandy married the love of her life, Robert Donald “Bob” Arzich. Together, they built a life centered around family, kindness, and service to others. She was preceded in death by her beloved children, Debra Marie “Debby” Arzich and Robert John “Bobby” Arzich, and her stepdaughter, Theresa Jean McGough. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 52 years, Robert Arzich, and her stepson, Daniel Wayne Arzich.
In her early years, Sandy worked in banking before moving to Skyline Mountain Resort, where she helped establish the growing community as a manager. That is where they created the home we all know until retirement.
After the heartbreaking loss of her own children, Sandy found purpose in continuing to love and help raise so many others. Her home and heart were always open, and she became a grandmother, great-grandmother, mother figure, and source of comfort to countless people. She had the opportunity to help raise her grandchildren, as well as returning to work as a school bus aide. There, she became a familiar and beloved face to many children and families throughout the community.
Those whose lives she helped shape, whether through family, marriage, friendship, or simply by the love she gave so freely, were all blessed to call Sandy family in one way or another. They include Riley McGough, Kandice McGough, Craig Hoover, Jace McGough, Hannah McGough, Lucas McGough, Jenna McGough, Roy McGough, Rebecca James, Autumn Honings, Emma Honings, Debbie Coates Rocco, Tom Rocco, Christina Marie Hampton, Draven Todd Crandall, Skyler Rocco, Brieanna Rocco, Melissa Prothero Hunt, Tyson Jeffs, Shea Na’oupu, Monte Na’oupu, Ryker Jeffs, Pierce Hunt, Soraya Hunt, Shelly Owens Peterson, Earl Peterson, Debby Seely, James Peterson, Paul Blanthorn, Leona Blanthorn, Bonnie Blanthorn-Curtis, Sean Curtis, Kaitlyn Rush, Cassandra Sanger, David Sanger, Matt Sanger, Breanne Sanger, Joan Marquez, and Cindy Marquez Rapponotti.
Sandy was known for her feisty spirit, quick wit, and strong personality, but above all, she was full of love. She fiercely cared for those around her and never hesitated to put others before herself. She made everyone feel like family, and her generosity, compassion, and unwavering devotion to others will never be forgotten.
The legacy Sandy leaves behind is not measured by possessions, but by the countless lives she touched, the families she embraced, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and remembered always.
