Tiffany “Tiff” Ann Carter

Tiff was born in Provo, Utah on June 9, 1987 to Edward and Julie Ricketts. She passed away surrounded by loved ones in Provo, Utah on October 7, 2026.

Tiff was born with spina bifida and it caused many challenges throughout her life. She was born a fighter and faced these challenges with a smile on her face.

She had so many people who loved and cared for her. One person that was close with Tiff was Sherrane Rostron with Sanpete Community Training. Tiff always looked forward to spending one on one time with her.

Tiff graduated from North Sanpete High in 2005. During her senior year she started volunteering at Sanpete Valley Hospital and was later brought on as a permanent employee. Everyone that walked through the doors of the hospital was greeted with Tiff's amazing smile.

In 2014, a day she thought she would never get to experience came when she married the love of her life, Tony Carter. In doing so she gained three step children and seven dogs, or fur babies as she liked to call them.

Tiff was loved and cared for very deeply, by many. Even on days she didn’t feel good she did her best to have a smile on her face and it’s a smile we will all miss but a smile we will all remember.

Tiff is survived by husband, Tony Carter; his three kids of Huntington, UT; father, Edward Ricketts, Bullhead City, AZ; mother, Julie Ricketts (Kelly Poulsen), Wales, UT; brother, Kevin Olsen, Manti, UT; sister, Jessica (Josh) Charleston, Glendale, OR; sister, Amber Ricketts, Saratoga Springs, UT; Grandpa, Edward Ricketts, Bullhead City, AZ; grandma and grandpa Shanna (Alfred) Daniels, Taylorsville, UT; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews who she loved dearly and her two step granddaughters. She is preceded in death by her grandma Ricketts and Lonnie Moke; mother-in-law, Tamara Carter.

Family wants to thank all of the teachers who helped her at North Sanpete High School, Sanpete Community Training and Rasmussen Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanpitch Ward Chapel (92 S 200 W, Wales, UT 84662). Viewings will be held Friday night, October 6, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. both held at the church. Interment in the Wales Town Cemetery.
