Venita (Peterson) Crowther

May 22, 1938 — May 15, 2022

5/22/1938 ~ 5/15/2022

Venita (Peterson) Crowther passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband, children, and grandchildren on May 15, 2022 – a very beautiful day for her to return to her heavenly home. She was born on May 22, 1938, in Spring City, Utah to Frank and Mildred Peterson. She lived the farm life of bareback horse riding and “takin’ care of the cows.” She married Don Crowther on April 4, 1958, in Spring City, Utah. They raised their two children in West Valley City, Utah. She was a loving wife, the BEST Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma that any of us could ask for. She loved her husband, kids, and grandkids with all of her heart and told them regularly! She had many friends that she loved dearly as well. If you knew Venita, you loved her. She was happiest when she was crocheting, sewing, quilting, cooking, making her precious porcelain dolls, and cleaning up behind everyone! Her house was always spotless – was providing ‘orders’ to Don to clean the stove and countertop up to her last day. She is survived by her husband, Don, son Boyd (Sandra), daughter Kayleen, grandchildren Brooke (Ben), BJ (Kim), Jared, Krista (Tyler), Whitney, Nathan (Alexis) and 10 great-grandchildren. We just want her to know that we LOVE her and will miss her dearly every day until we meet again!
Per her wishes, a graveside service will be held at the Fountain Green, Utah, cemetery on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:30 am.
