Vickie Lee Shepherd

January 23, 1953 — December 25, 2021

1/23/1953 ~ 12/25/2021

Our kind and loving mother, Vickie Lee Shepherd 68, passed away on December 25th, 2021, at home in Upland, California. Heavenly Father chose His Son’s day to welcome her into His home. The last two years of her life she courageously battled cancer.

Vickie was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 23rd, 1953. She was the daughter of Blaine and Elaine Shepherd. She grew up in Cottonwood Heights, Utah and attended Hillcrest, graduating from Brighton High School where she earned the opportunity to illustrate and paint the first Brighton Bengal mascot. This hung proudly on the gymnasium wall for many years.  After high school, she met Darmon Lee Jamison at Sperry Univac, where they both were employed. They were married August 23, 1973, and had five children during their nineteen years of marriage.

She is survived by her siblings, Larry (Dottie) Shepherd, Loreen Shepherd and Lynette (Keith) Brower, and her five children, Branden (Angela) Jamison, Amanda (Hans) Olsen, Alisha (Tammy) Jamison, Malissa (Kenneth) Latu, Trisha (Ray) Dudgeon, and her fourteen grandchildren. She loved her family dearly.

Vickie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she held many callings.  She loved to crochet, arrange floral pieces and bake. Her true joy was Sunday dinner with her family. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

The service will be held at Rasmussen Mortuary, 96 N. 100W. Mt. Pleasant, Utah on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 11:00 am, and immediately followed by the burial at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
